“The less represented the occupier, the better it is for us,” a seasoned landlord once remarked. It was sharp, unapologetic — and all too telling. Because far too often, the occupier loses out.

The moment that sparked a desire to do things differently.

From this point on, we wanted to put occupiers at the centre of the commercial real estate equation. After years spent working with, and within, some of the world’s largest occupiers, we created Tenure.
 
By definition, tenure refers to the terms under which land or buildings are held or occupied. We believe it should mean more than that, it should be a strategic advantage.

Johnson

Across more than two decades, David has built a deep passion for representing occupiers around the world — helping them think like a property company to better support their core business. His experience spans more than 50 global markets and a wide range of asset types, bringing a wealth of best practice and insight to every engagement.

Earlier in his career, David worked as a consultant with PwC and Deloitte, advising on major real estate projects for the BBC, Absa Bank, UK Border Force and Standard Chartered Bank. He then moved into senior in-house roles at Barclays Bank, Shell, NHS Property Services, the UK Department for Work & Pensions, and National Australia Bank.

He’s sat on both sides of the table, led complex portfolios, and knows what it takes to get the right outcome.

Ari is a senior property expert with over 25 years’ experience across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. He’s worked with ANZ, Westfield and Shell, managing complex portfolios and helping occupiers get more from their space. Practical, strategic and outcome-driven, Ari knows what works and gets it done.

Murray is a seasoned property and construction leader with over 20 years’ experience on the occupier side. He’s led major corporate projects at Westpac and Vodafone, and run fit-out programmes as GM of Construction. Strategic, hands-on and commercially minded — Murray brings clarity, pace and results.
